What paid submission platforms charge
SubmitHub and Groover, with the response guarantees that are actually written down.
SubmitHub. Credits "start at $1 each, and go as low as $0.78 each depending on how many you purchase". Two free standard credits arrive every four hours, capped at two held at once, with no response guarantee.
Premium credits carry the guarantee: the recipient must respond within 72 hours, listen at least 60 seconds, and either approve or write 20 or more words, or the credit returns to you. Money refunds are narrow: within 24 hours of purchase, nothing once credits are spent, and credits expire after twelve months.
Groover. One Grooviz is €1 and contacting a curator or professional costs 2 Grooviz, so roughly €2 a submission. Top-tier contacts cost 4 to 6. Curators have seven days to respond or the Grooviz are refunded automatically.
A note on accuracy: several third-party guides quote "48 hours / 20 seconds / 10 words" for SubmitHub's premium rules. SubmitHub's own page says 72 hours, 60 seconds, 20 words. Groover's own pages disagree with each other about pack discounts, quoting both 20% and 24% as the maximum.
