Spotify launches Fresh Finds Forward for 10,000 indie artists
Spotify will enroll 10,000 emerging artists a year into Fresh Finds Forward, offering 12 months of benefits including US studio time and six months of therapy.

Key, verifiable items in the package: free studio time for US‑based artists at named facilities including Electric Lady Studios, The Lighthouse at Ocean Way Nashville and Spotify Studios in Los Angeles (Spotify; checked 18 Sep 2026); premium access to LANDR Studio Pro and Splice’s Creator plan (Spotify; checked 18 Sep 2026); and six months of free therapy through BetterHelp (Spotify; checked 18 Sep 2026). Practical consequence for freelancers
If you’re an indie artist or small team, the package reduces direct production and operating costs you would normally invoice for: booked US studio hours (if you qualify) and at least six months of licensed DAW/service access are covered, plus six months of therapy for mental‑health budgeting. The Fresh Finds badge and early access to Spotify tools also carry marketing value you can list on invoices or rate cards when negotiating paid support, sync, or tour services.
