The fact

Spotify said all 58 of Taylor Swift’s official music videos became available to Premium subscribers on 16 September 2026, the company describing it as the first time Swift’s entire video catalogue was on the service.

Spotify said Premium users in its video beta can open the app on TV, desktop, iOS or Android and tap “Switch to video” to start the clip from the audio’s current point; “Switch to audio” returns to background listening. The company also said videos are available to Premium listeners in markets including the US, UK and Canada, and to free listeners in Brazil and Colombia.

Why it matters to freelancers

  • Distribution demand: Spotify told the market that nearly 100,000 artists were in the beta that lets them upload full-length videos, creating a self-service route for clients.
  • Audience impact: Spotify reported that listeners who watch a full-length video stream the song 64% more over the following three weeks than listeners who only hear audio.
  • Practical billing items: add contract line items for audiovisual licensing, platform deliverables (TV/master files, mobile cuts), closed captions, metadata delivery and upload or editorial-pitching work.
